I am currently trying to back up my DVDS to DVDrs and is there a way or a program that i can use that will compress the dvd so i can put it on one DVD and still have use of all the menus. I have tried dvd shrink and i use DVD clone for a normal burn.

Hello, hemisxpck. I guess I don't really understand your question. There are many commercial programs available to do what you describe as well as free programs like DVD Shrink. You mentioned you tried DVD Shrink which is what most around here probably use in conjunction with DVD Decrypter, AnyDVD, and/or DVDFab Decrypter. If you have the Nero suite, then Nero Recode will work as well. Did DVD Shrink not work for you? If you need a how-to guide, may I suggest the guides here:

If this doesn't answer your question, please repost.

If you use the edit feature in Shrink to remove unwanted areas the menu will NOT function. If you just compress the complete disc and don't edit the menu should work. Thats one of the reasons I use Clonedvd 2 for my main backup program. Clonedvd lets you remove anything you want from the dvd and you can still keep a working menu. Just my opinion.
