If anyone can help me fix my xbox that has the christmas lights error that would be great....i heard that it has something to do with a bad connection with the AV cable but im not sure The christmas lights error is where your xbox automatically turns on and off 3 times until it finally stops and starts to flash red and green (Christmas Lights) and there is no picture on the screen. It would be great if someone could help me fix this...i am now on my 3rd xbox, my first one has this christmas lights problem and my second one has an error 06...HELP!!!
Ok man look, fragging (xmas lights) can explain 100 different problems. We need more info. What version xbox, how did you attempt to mod it, what you did to it. Google is your friend.
OK...my version is 1.1, i didnt attempt to mod it, and i have no idea why it is doing this, i tried to return it but the warrenty was like 1 month overdue, ive really been trying to fix my second xbox with an error 06, but i have to wait for a cable to arrive that i ordered off of ebay.
I have no idea, if you didn't attempt to mod it anyway, this NEVER happens w/o opening the case/soldering or softmod attempts. Did someone else attempt to mod it? Bad AV cables will flash orange, not frag. Can't help you w/o more info. Stock unmodded, unopened xbox's don't just frag, something had to happen to it.
ho, ho, ho..... either your hard drive or dvd rom is bad. So, you need to put them on your christmas list. cheers
