I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but here goes. I recently purchased a DVD Recorder and am using DVD+RW discs. I edited out the commercials with the recorder, but when I go copy the completed disc to a DVD-R with DVD Shrink the commercials are still there. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any software were I could easily remove the commercials. I would like to copy a show as one title and then cut it into a few titles where the commercials were. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Your recorder only tags the areas with commercials to be bypassed upon playback. It doesn't remove them. Consequently, they are really still there as you've now discovered. TMPGEnc Author can be used to edit out commercials as can NeroVision Express 3, as well as any other DVD authoring program.

An excellent freeware program that I use to edit my DVD+RW discs is DVD Shrink. Use it in 're author' mode ..
