Recently i bought xpert dvd maker. Its easy to connect and i can record video to my laptop, but i dont get good sound quality. I know someone in here has the device, so i hope this person can help me with the settings. I am using the bundl sofware, since i have no other. I have a laptop, so i have to connect the audio in to the microphone jack. I would appreciate any help from you.

I have one of those cards too and although the audio is good when useing the tuner to watch tv, I can barely hear anything when useing the rca a/v inputs. I was going to use it to convert vhs tapes to dvd but gave up since the audio levels were so low going through a/v inputs. Sorry I can't help ya since mine doesn't work right either. I thought there might be a reastat on the card to adjust a/v audio level but never took the time to mess with it.

i kinda fixed the problem, but now my question is: is it normal to take that long creating the disc?
