kprobe spins up drive, then spins down and stops

    Kprobe isn't working on my system. It spins up the drive, then instead of scanning the disc, it spins it down again and finishes. Any ideas?

    I thought k-probe was for lite-on and rebadged lite-on drives only!

    Try dvdinfopro.
