son files to maestro

Hi i had my.srt subfiles convert to .ssa with subrip and then to .son with maestroSBT?like discribed here somewhere.
Now my problem is,if i want to import them into dvd maestro i get the following message:
NO CORRESPONDING SUBTITLES FOUND! The video asset timecode may not correspond to the timecode specified for the subtitles in the import file.
What did i don wrong and can someone help me with this problem

theres no mention in your post about .bmps
you need .bmps from subrip to go along with your .son file and in the same folder so maestro will pick them up.
