I wanted to offer a tip, to everyone who is having difficulty with making DVDs.

And that appears to be just about everyone!!

To avoid wasting expensive DVD discs, turn off the Burn At Once option when starting Nero Vision Express. This way, the program won't even touch your disc until the transcoding process is 100% successful. If it fails at any point, you don't have a coaster. You still have a blank DVD which can be used for another try.

I love the Nero Burning ROM program. It's the best. But somehow, Vision Express is a bug-infested disaster...

    So sad.

Better still select 'burn to image recorder', test play the image created with showtime and burn the image with NBR if it is OK.
