ok well i got everything set up... and my box wont connect to live i dont know whats wrong...I think it has to do something with the ethernet port and the usb or w/e... can anyone help!!
it says dns error or ip conflict... i think it has something to do with the usb port idk something like the NIC isnt compatible with a usb or something idk.. i just need someone to tell me how to make the usb port an ethernet port... by meaning all my stuff is setup.. i mean i have my computer connected to my modem and from my computer runs a crossover to my xbox... and yes the bridge is setup.. i just keep gettin an ip conflict error or something..
I have a wireless setup so I can't troubleshoot this kind. My buddy had the same dns problems with his too. You might have to do that usb/nic thing, although I have no idea how to. Also try this http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/118/62/
hmmm i can try that... but just incase.. does anyone else have a non wireless network that they have had this problem on
ya r u trying to use a windows 2000 they dont work only xp and make sure u actually clicked bridge connections in the network card or it wont work for sure
