I'm always ripping to my HDD so I can keep a copy and then burn from there. Should I chose ISO or Video files as my ripping option? Every ripping software that I use has both options. I want quality over speed.

The only reason I see one might want to rip a DVD to and ISO image is to later mount is as a "virtual drive" and have the original contents always available.

Ripping the DVD to files would create same files in a specified folder on the HD.

Thanks. I've spent a lot of time on this site over the past week or so and I realy appreciate all the interaction. With a little help I'll be off and on my own. Hopefully I'll be able to help others in the future.
