I downloaded files like alias.501.hdtv-lol.[VTV]. It runs fine in media player. I'm trying to get it on a dvd for a home player, but can't do it. I imagine i need to make a video/audio_TS kinda thing. Yes? I have ulead video studio9 which converts my mpegs and lots of avis to dvd, but not this file, or others like it. any help?

    Hi there,

If you wish to view those on a DVD Player (That doesn't support Divx/xVid) yes, you will need to convert those files to DVD format (Autio_TS / Video_TS).

If those are Divx files, and your DVD player does play Divx, read your manual, it will tell you how to burn those "DATA" .avi files on CD-R or DVD-R, not sure what media they want it on !

I used VSO's DivxtoDVD. Except for loss in quality,it converts fine. There is a large Advertising banner accross the screen due to trial version. Is there freeware or shareware which converts the same, avoiding the ads?
