Turn off your caps and calm down.

Now what movie is it you are trying to burn? What proggys are you using? Lets have the full model # of your burner and the name of your blanks.

First we need to find out if your firmware is up to date. To do this download this firmware identifier prog here: http://flashman.rpc-1.com/Firmware/DVD-CD_firmware_detect.exe

The current firmware for your drive can be found here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2110

Next we need to make sure your DMA is turned on, here's the quide: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/dvdguide005.html

Next, since I couldn't tell if your drive is a dual format drive from the NEC site, we need to make sure that you are using the correct format of blanks, ie.+R or -R.

What program are you using to rip to your HD? You need DVD Decrypter, DVDFab Decrypter, DVD Shrink or Nero , DVD43 orAnyDVD. Once you gather all of this info we can continue.

Maybe it says wrong format because you are using CDs instead of DVDs.

You may have very perceptive children - LOL

Seriously, you need to provide some more detailed information - What programs are you using to rip and encode with prior to using Nero?

You probably also need to read and understand some of the guides provided in this forum before rushing in too fast.

Once you understand the basics it all becomes very simple.
