It is the best chip hands down. It is considered a 4th gen by many devs because it is so advanced, compared to the rest. If you are thinking of getting it, DO IT!
I already have it, b/c i got the error 16 so i'm going to mod my xbox to pass the clock. But what all can u do w/ this mod chip, yes i'm a noob.
Oh, god everything. Bios has LIVE configuration. LCD support. Xbox Live blocking so you don't accidentally sign on modded. You can buy the Contol Panel with LCD that looks awesome. 2MB flashrom for up to 16 256 bios' so you can boot different dash's. Config LIVE lets you change the startup animation colors, wireframe and such. You just have to use the special X3 bios. EASY to install with only 3 wires to solder (d0, HDD activity, LAN activity) Its pimp. Agreed. Could not have said it better. To save a couple of bucks on an inferior chip will cost you hours of banging your head against the wall!!!!!!
