I'm trying to convert my mixtapes from wav to mp3, and when I burn it to cd there's a small gap / click at the end of every song. I've tried using different converters (sound forge, eac) but it's always some sort of problem. Please help!!!!!!
MP3 isn't a gapless format. That's one of the downsides to it. If you plan on burning the MP3 files to cd then there is a way to get around this problem. Just do everything that's said in this guide http://www.chrismyden.com/040207.php. Or you could always rip to another format such as OGG Vorbis or MPC which are gapless. p.s. some of those mixtapes on your site look good.
This was a great article, but I need get the mp3's properly formatted before the burning. I'm noticing that all the burned mp3's have a .03 Is there a program that can trim '.03 seconds' on a batch of mp3's?
There's a program called Audacity which lets you edit audio. This includes what you are trying to do. It is time consuming and the end result might not end up what you are expecting. here is the link http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
