Problem transfering VHS to Ilo 04

My Ilo works great - except for transferring my old VHS tapes. I've tried 3 different VHS players but the dvd recorder will quit after 20-40 minutes. I have oodles of old westerns taped from TV that I want to put on DVD. I am using AV front on the Ilo for source.
I can record dvds from TV without any problems. Any thoughts?

Why don't you try the rear AV inputs since the front don't work

Are you using the record button? If so you are in OTR mode and a second press will result in 30 min recording, and additional will advance the recording time 30 min.
The front inputs have a hum problem but I don't think they would result in limited recording time. There's always a first

Thanks Catfreak. That seems to have done the trick. I'm recording one now, and its gone 4 hours with no problem. Appreciate your input. (That was not meant to be a pun!)

Glad to hear that the unit is working OK.

Could you try a recording using the front jacks again. Use the same connections to and from the ilo. Some users have reported a similar problem But I don't think use of the front jack wrere brought up. If this is an issue, it may help others.
