I downloaded a ringtone from cingular...I have a v551. My girlfriend has a razr. Anyway, I wanted to send her my ringtone, but in the sound list its locked..How can I get it to her phone without having to download it from cingular again? or how do I unlock any of the tones? Any help would be appreciated.
U can download a proggie called P2KMan and go into the audio folder of your phone I believe it's a/mobile/audio and save it to your computer, then put it on her phone via cable. The tone isn't actually 'locked' in a traditional sense, it's just added onto your phone as an 'undeletable' file, so you couldn't delete it thru the phone...you can however delete or manipulate the file with P2kMan...give it a shot. Otherwise, you MIGHT be able to send the tone as an attachment in a text message...but you may have already tried that.
