can you show the exact line up of the folders in order?

and thats all you have to do is replace the dummy.

can you still play the game with that dnas without going online?

yeah the game works fine offline without the dnas
the file tree should look like this

ed2
ed3
ed4
ed5
ed6
license
module
moviep
ntgui2
pac
thmcab
thmcas
thmloc
addlistp.h
paclistp.h
sles_536.76
belt
bgm
bin
ed0
ed1

so just drop the folders into Nero in the above order. because the pac folder has the dummy file you have to drop the files from that folder individually and replace the dummy.dat from the iso with your replacement

There are no "good" PAL to NTSC patchers for PS2. The games are always distorted.

Some games are just troublesome even with a chip. The easiest way to rebuild is:
11. Q. How Do I rebuild games?
A. With Nero and IsoBuster (works as long as no single file is over 2 GB's): http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/197949

37. Q. I downloaded a PAL game, how do I convert it to NTSC?
A. Use Adrenaline patcher if it's an EA game: http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_utils_files.shtml#ADRenalin%20Patcher Note: I've been told this works for non EA games as well. The screen won't be perfectly centered, unless you have a modchip that forces video mode.
Or patch with PAL2NTSC patcher with Y fix for non EA games: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/121718

Um, the file is called DUMMY.DAT, it's not very hard to find. Hint: it's in the /PAC/ folder.

Don't delete it, open up wordpad, hit spacebar twice, then save as DUMMY.DAT and over write it.

Never heard of a dummy file being a movie file, you sure you're looking in the right place? It's usually in the root directory of the game, but not always.

49. Q. I'm rebuilding game X, I'm concerned it has dummy files. How do I identify the dummy files?
A. From Hursty: When you see the iso has dummy files.i.e 00DUMMY. 01DUMMY. GARBAGE ETC, you need to get rid of them, by replacing them with a file. So on the desktop, right click the mouse, select "new" > text document and rename it as it appears in isobuster, then click enter. Then open the text document on the desktop, hit space once, then save, this will create a text document with 1 byte in it, Do this for all the dummy files you have, as some games have more than one.

some programs accept ".dat" files as movies...

however you do not need to open the .dat file...u need to have windows to show file extensions...in a folder click tools, then folder options then the view tab...make sure "hide extensions for know file types" is not ticked

then open a new text document by right click and new...then "new text document"... hit space and save under the name of the dummy file...eg DUMMY.DAT

then use this file to replace the dummy file

It doesnt really matter what type of file it is. You should always be able to open it with Notepad.

Nope...

DUMMY.DAT - MPEG Video File - 600MB's

when you try open it with notepad it crushes your computer then says unable to open to big, find another viwer / application.

First time i get this problem... and recently all my new games have MPEG Vids as DUMMY files...

anywho... i rebulit the game from 3.90 to 3.37 i think by using the isobuster / CD_DVD-ROM Generator 1.20 / gdvd4-iml2iso.exe / WinDIP v1.7.exe Method....

I dont no how to do it on Nero, never tryed it and dont look to keen in doing so.

The Game didnt work eventuly, says "Invalid PS2 Disc" using SM3.6 on PAL Slimline...

Any Advice Please...

******** Okay Updated:

Both Backups i Made (First was Rebulit with DUMMY.TXT Replacment and burnt at 4x speed & Second was Rebulit with DUMMY.DAT Replacment and burnt at 2x speed)

Like i said No.1 didnt load and gave me the Invalid Disc Bullshit... No.2 did the same, then it loaded but went into a black screen...

so doing what i had to do with older games, i put my finger on the cd to super slow it down from the swap magic boot up screen, pressed X and it loaded... i tryed to put the clothe on top of the cd but i couldnt get the exact preussre my finger was giving to it, so it would run but no music in backgroundn when u wana load it wont load unless i put my finger on it...(this is Backup No.2, No.1 loaded but Wouldn't go further)

So yea...WTF is going on with this game? Do i need a DVD loader CD to boot it up? i have tryed burning one of thoes before, they didnt work...

HELP PLEASE!!! SOMEONE!! i'm running out off CD's i cant keep messing up.... i Got NBA Street V3 and GUN on the way... if anyone has backed these up sucessfully please let me know...

Anywho got to go... holla, peace!
