    Hey there guys,

I have been trying to connect my laptop to my tv, so that i can watch my divx files on my TV.

My laptop has an s-video out and my TV a scart in, so i bought an s-video to scart cable and connected them up. I played with the graphics card options on the laptop and was able to switch the view to the TV, and it looks ok, a little blurry but i expected that. The problem is that it is displaying in black and white. I have a feeling that this might be due to it being a US laptop with a UK TV, so is there an NTSC/PAL clash going on here?

I tried all the TV options that the graphics card on the laptop gave me, high/true colour, and pal-I,G,B,H etc, but it was still black and white. The reason i wasnt sure if thats the problem is that my DVD player is multi region, so i know that my TV can handle NTSC from my region 1 DVDs fine. Any help would be great, thanks.
