I have tried to burn a movie using dvd decrypter and when I use -r disks it doesn't see the disk. I have a dell with a dvd rom and dvd burner..any ideas? When I use dvd+r disks there are no problems..everything works okay. I have a dell demension 8300. Kirk
More then likly your DVD drive only will burn DVD+R disk. Download the program on the link below to see what your DVD Burrner capibilities are. It will tell you what formats it can read/burn. The program is called VSO Inspector and its free. Go to the link and it is close to the bottem right hand side of the page. Insatll it run it and it will tell you the information. http://www.vso-software.fr/download.php
Thanks for the program...apparently my dvd player won't write on dvd -r. I thought it would because -r are the older disks. Thanks for your help... Kirk
What is the DVD-Burrner you have in the dell? If you can find the model number of the DVD-Burrner see if you can find a firmware update that could upgrade some of the capatibilites of your DVD-Burrner.
