How do I connect the Xbox to PC?

    Hi guys.
    I'm having trouble connecting my Xbox to my computer.
    When I connect it, the PC doesn't recognize it, is like I had nothing connected :|
    PS: Yes, I have the Xbox on when I connect it :p

    Exactly how do you connect a Xbox to your pc anyway?

    I'm connecting the Computer to the Xbox through an Ethernet cable.

    If you don't use a router, you have to connect with a crossover cable. Also, if you're using xp, change your alternate network configuration to something like 192.168.0.3 (not the same as the xbox's IP).
