I have some dvd's my buddy burned for me and I can't watch them on my dvd player becasue it only reads dvd-r discs, and the ones he gave me are +r. Does it work to just re-burn it onto the -r discs,or will it not come out right? Just trying to save a few bucks in buying the discs and testing it out.

    Thanks

Yes it should work burrning them to DVD-R disc. But the only way to really find out is to do it. Make sure your using good media. Or you could have your friend try burrning a DVD+R disc but booktype it to burn DVD-ROM. Booktyping DVD+R disc to DVD-ROM could make it compatible with your DVD Player.
