I know this has been discussed, but I cannot find the thread for it now. Is there a way to shrink and copy "The Little Black Book"? I remember seeing this somewhere but cannot locate it now. Can you direct me to that thread or help me with the answer? Is there a way around the error I'm getting with DVD shrink? Also, I remember seeing a list of movies that would not copy. Can you direct me to that list again? Thanks!

Thanks for your help. I tried it in file mode and it gave me a message completed successfully, but I don't know what to do now to get it from hard drive to dvd. I am programmed (lol) to use DVD Shrink and then DVD Encrypter to move to DVD. Can you tell me how to do this?

When you click backup in shrink you will be given the choice of how to burn. Select write ISO and burn w/decrypter.

Follow the guide that arniebear directed you to and go step by step and you will be burning successfully.

Thanks guys! I printed out the instructions from arniebear and this is nothing like I have been doing to copy. I always use DVD Shrink first and then DVD Encrypter to copy from hard drive to DVD. Am I missing something? Is there a better way to do this than what I am used to? Please advise. As you can see I am not to familiar with this. Once I learned that way I have just kept doing so until I had this problem with this particular movie. I have not been able to copy quite a few that I probably could have. I should have asked you guys sooner. Again, is there any way that is better than the other to accomplish this? Thanks again! I appreciate your time.

If you are able to rip the movie with DVDShrink, then there is no need to rip with decrypter. Sometimes DVDshrink will not rip the movie and therefore you use decrypter to rip, shrink to compress, and decrypter to burn. arniebear showed me that if you can rip with shrink and compress, then burn with decrypter, you will save a step.

Now some of the newer encryptions shrink won't handle so you can try decrypter, then shrink, the burn w/decrypter.

Neither decrypter or shrink are being updated any longer which will present a problem with some of the newer Sony encryptions. In that case you may need to get DVDFab Decrypter (http://www.filepedia.com) or obtain the retail version of AnyDVD (great program). With these you should be able to rip just about anything.

Cheers. bbmayo's guides are great though.
