Since I loaded my ipod software my pc wont shut down

Since I installed the ipod software that came with my 20gig ipod my computer won't shut down - it goes through the motions but then auto restarts itself. An error report said:
Error caused by a device driver
Not sure what to do now. Any suggestions?

A device driver, a new hardware device or software installed on your system caused the problem. The link maybe help.
