I'm trying to create a dedicated Media center system, Is there a plug-in which I can use to automatically backup dvd's and add them to my library when I insert them?

If you're running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, the My Movies plugin allows you to rip DVD's with just your remote (you'll need something like AnyDVD to rip CSS protected DVD's):

    http://www.mymovies.name/

It won't be automatic, but I'd say you wouldn't want to rip every DVD you pop in system. Just a few click on the remote, and you can rip it, and then index the movie with info and covers.

Otherwise if you're using some other HTPC frontend like GB-pvr or MediaPortal, I'm pretty sure both of those have plugins that let you rip a DVD too.

    Cheers.
