well I have a xecuter 2.6 ce and i was going to use the solderless adapter. i have a v1.0 and I just found out that 1.0s are the only ones that come with the solder already in it. Now I have to get them desoldered. Im tired of spending money just to get this stuff right. If it aint one thing its another

    you can do two things:
    1. go to radio shack and buy some solder braid and desolder the holes
    2. go to a electronic part shop and buy a 1/32 drill bit and drill new small holes

I would go with option 2, fast and easy.

    cheers

Christ don't drill the lpc holes!!! Insane.

Get the braid or I would recommend the solder pump. The reason they are filled is because you have a 1.0 ver xbox. The solder pump works good for these. You just hold the board up sideways, heat one side of the whole and suck the solder out of the other.
