Hello, Not sure were to begin. I originally downlaoded a demo version of Nero 6. After the demo expired, I bought a serial number from nero because at the time I did not have any problems. One day out of the blue, it kept giving me burn processes failed. I have a philips dvd8421 writer. I have tried different media, unistalled and reinstalled, accomplished updates. Not sure what to do next. I don't actually have a nero disk. I downloaded the program and them bought the serial number offline. could I be getting a bad download. Also, my computer recently became infected with viruses. Do you virus could have deleted files. Since I have removed the viruses completely, again i reinstalled nero, should I just reformatt my computer?

@ozzymary I have bought all my Nero ver. since Nero 4 up to 7 from the Nero online store, you dl the program and then purchase and Nero sends you the SN in an email, all quite legal and no need for a disk. @melwest Go back to Nero and dl the Nero Clean Tool, and then uninstall, clean and do a reinstall and see if this works.
