has anyone ever seen a dvd that starts interlaced but changes to progressive? and could this cause audio sync probs ?
as far as I know, it doesn't produce sync problems, though you still need to de-interlace the video with TMPGEnc or Virtualdub
I believe I read something on this a couple days ago and will try to answer intelligently with my flawed memory. If I remember the cause was if the video was either seriously telecined or were seriously interlaced. I can't remember exactly which it was however I do remember it saying that force film option would not work in those instances and you would have to use a beefier program like vdub or tmpgenc to perform the operation. Now hopefully I'm not totally turned around on this.
Oh, btw, the reason I looked up the info in the first place was bc I had the same thing and now the audio and video came out perfect.
