have been using this a s a learning testting tool to make my own backups at home, although im no expert i can usually back up most dvds, what i usally do is back up onto a DVD+RW and watch it in my dvd player so recently i thought id try and create dvds out of my xvid and divx files after various attempts and guides over last week ive just about managed to get the right convertor to work on my pc im using Vso DivxtoDVD as this is the only one that has actually worked so far without wasting hours and then either crashing or not finishing once i have the dvd created i use dvd shrink to back up and burn the file but the problem im having is now when i play this dvd in my player it comes up black an white so i thougth this must be to do with making sure its PAL as im in the uk so i went thru the whole conversion process again using divxtodvd this time making aure it was done in pal format but still no joy, the dvd is still coming up black an white any help on this issue will be much much appreaciated thank u
You say you are familiar with VSO DivxToDVD then try this in conjunction with that prog. In DivxToDVD see where it says burn with CopyToDVD then check that box. will that resolve the black an white issues?? and can anyone tell me the most commone issues surrounding the playback in black an white ??
I t may not solve the problem but using these two programs make it virtually a complete converting and burning process. I have used these progs as has one of our Mods and we both have had good results.
