No Sound When I Burn?

    Hello, Im newish to burning dvd's.

    What i use is Nero Smartstart, Here's my problem, for example i downloaded Start Wars Episode 3 Revenge Of The Sith yesterday so i played it on Windows Media Player and i was puzzled as to why there wasnt any sound??.

    So i thought nothing of it, i went to burn it to dvd as i normally do and when i burn'd it there wasnt any sound on the dvd only a picture ? im puzzled anybody help ?! please

    Did you have the sound stream selected? I am not familar with Nero, but I know that in shrink if I deselect the sound there will be none. Just a thought.

    Do you have the necessary codecs?

    Nah mate there isnt a selection for sound on Nero or even if there is i have never seen it, but as i say iv burned ten's of dvd's and iv never came across this before maybe its something to do with a audio codec or something ? but if it is surely it shouldnt effect the dvd player :/ i dunno

    Ah didnt see the msg beneath, lol how would i know which codec i needed ? i have actually used gSpot and it says i have the necessary codec but i think gspots aloada crap tbh

    Try download and install K-Lite Codec Pack (full or mega version) from this site. It also comes with an all-purpose media player called Media Player Classic.
