Has anyone noticed DVDDecrypter messing with the DVD quality? I am very picky and notice absolutely everything when it comes to quality. But I ripped/burnt a DVD with DVDDecrypter then ripped/burnt the same DVD with DVD Fab and I noticed that my DVDDecrypter copy almost had a hazyness or fuzzyness to the picture. It's almost like a fuzzy layer over the picture and it really noticeable on solid colors, but on my DVDFab copy the picture was absolutely flawless. I burnt them both on the same media at the same rip and burn speeds. I know I'm not crazy. Has anyone else noticed this?

Also one more question does anyone know if DVDFab compresses the file at all? I didn't really notice any compression but I think I'm going to fork in the cash for DVDFab and switch over to that. I will only fork out the cash if I know for sure that it doesn't compress the files at all. Thanks guys.

DVDFab is a ripper/transcoder/burner all in one.
So if the disc you are copying is dual layer and the blank is single, then yes it wil compress it for you so it will fit the single layer blank. I'm assuming you're talking about DVDFab Express/Gold/Platinum since DVDFab Decrypter is free. But DVDFab Decrypter is only a ripper and does not compress.

As far as Decrypter messing with quality, I don't think that's possible since it only removes copy protection during the ripping process. There has to be another explanation for your results.
