Ok I did the soft mod on my buddies v1.1 and installed unleashedx. I used the memory card and the softmod.installer.deluxe.v2.0 and everything seems to be right. The problem is when I put a burnt game on there the tray says its empty. It will play the burnt dvd's without the dongle and they are burned on the same media as the games. I use the same media with my 1.6 and it works but its not soft modded I have a chip. Does anyone know have any ideas what I did wrong?? Thanks in advance Jay.
What program did you use to create your xbox iso, you can't just use a regular iso program. Or do the games work on your xbox and just not your friends
Hey thanks for actually replying. Well I have been backing up games for xbox for about a year now. Every game I have backed up has worked perfectly on my xbox no problems what so ever. I figured out what the problem was. He has a Thompson drive. I do not know if it has been confirmed but out of 2 Thompson drive xboxs neither of the will play dvd+r but will play dvd-r fine. I couldnt figure out why it would read a burnt dvd but not the burnt game than noticed the movie was on a dvd-r and the game was dvd+r. I put a movie in the other xbox burnt on a dvd+r and just like I thought it wouldn't play it. So I figured out what it was thanks for actually taking the time to reply to my message.
