I've tried to copy this movie serveral times using two different copies of the movie, failed each time. About halfway through the process the recorder, NEC ND-6500A, starts clicking like crazy like the disc is damaged. Both copies were brand new and I even cleaned them, still no luck. Funny thing is that both worked with my DVD player, played straight through without a hitch. Never had this problem before.

I tried anyDVD, CloneDVD, DVDdecrypter, and DVD Shrink, in several combinations. This is the only movie I've had a problem with.

Are you running AnyDVD in the background for decryption?

    Have you tried DVDFab Decrypter?

Try disabling AnyDVD and then using DVDFAB Decrypter by itself.
