To bridge.. correct me if I am wrong. Steps: Connect Xbox to router cross-over cable. Connect internet to router. Connect Computer to router. Next, Go to Start>My Network Places> View Network Connections Click on my Internet and Xbox entries using Shift-Click Right Click > Bridge Connections Then after that what? What programs do I need to run so I can boot modding boxes? Also, will my connection become unbridged everytime I disconnect the hub? I will need to know the xbox live IP and computer IP too, correct? as well as my friends? Any help would be great!
u need Commview and also ZAP (Zone Alarm Pro) You can get them from sites like www.elitemods.net www.deliri.com www.haloaddicts.com
On www.haloaddicts.com is it Zone Alarm Security Suite? Because none of the sites have Zone Alarm Pro... One has Zone Alarm but not pro, nor does it have a key generator for it.
I got a cross over cable, plugged it into my xbox and hub, went to my connections and cannot find it... The cross over can go from xbox to hub, then a reg ethernet cable from hub to dsl, and hub to computer using reg ethernet? correct?
Well when I go to network Connections I have two Local Areas... So I plugged the Cross over into the computer another outlet that looked like for ethernet. Then enabled the Local Area 2 connection... now it says packets are being shifted but has little or no connectivity... so is it running? and do I just simply bridge that to my local area 1 connection... or to my 1394 connection?
Okay I was able to do it... I cannot find that other program though... not commview but the other one, as pro version. Anyway. Once I get that, can you explain how to force host... and boot modders... And I have a question, can I get banned for booting modders from the game, does bungie call that cheating? Or leveling out playing field, because that is the only reason why I want to do this. But, I don't want my xbox live account banned
