hi i have a movie it says its an avi file but when i try to burn it with nero it keeps opening in windows media player it also says its a windows movie can you help me to burn it thanks jc
hi kirriejim, the avi you mention needs to be converted to an mpeg2 compatible format before it can be burnt to disc using your burning application.Nero can do the file for you but i prefer if you would try divx to dvd.Heres a link to a free version: http://www.filepedia.com/video_software/dvd-r_tools/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm once you have converted your file, try using nero again and see if you can get it to disc.If you find you cant just repost and we will try and assist you further.
