how to standbye to get host

Does anyone know how to standbye to get host? I dont have a standbye button on my modem but I herd someone saying something about pulling out a cord.

 

this is how i stand by: there is a cord connected to your router from your modem. WHEN YOU ARE HOST, pull the cord that is connected to your modem out. im not sure how to "stand by to get host" but, u can get somone to bridge you host. most bridges wont mess with you since they can have modders! stand bying is kinda out of date now. its all about the spawn mods and the bridgers!

btw...dont pull the cord for 2 long cause people will lag you out, or you will lag urself out. pull fro about 2 or 3 seconds

 

You can standby to get host, I'll give a tutorial on how it's done for a
2month.

Edit: No computer/programs needed. Just either a standby button, or a pull of a cord.

 

pull the cord out that go's from my router to my modem? My router is my modem. When do I pull the cord out? I herd it was when your at number 4 and its counting down. Then you pull it out When there is 3 seconds left till the game starts.

 

Just pull the ethernet cord out of ur modem and it will work!

 

Standbyers are modder posers. I used to standby, it is a crappy way of cheating. By the way, does anyone no where to get the fake halo 2 update?

That's an oxy moron, double negative, just plain ignorant comment, that really makes no sense.

It's two totally different things, and a good standbyer can beat a modder *EVERYTIME*, because a standbyer is coup'd with a bridger *EVERY* game. So either you can bridge them out, or standby them, and their mods mean nothing because they can't move.

Modding is just a quicker way to get banned, I prefer to standby/bridge over modding.

 

i agree im pretty good at standbying and i could slaughter any modder if i had host

 

yea, i no you can beat modders when you have a bridger, but modding is more fun. unlike standbying more than one person can move around.

i also used to standby, i wasn't tryin 2 sound like an ass all i meant was modding is the newer and better way of cheating.

ps: you can't beat me if you standby, i always play with a bridger.

 

I have a modem/router in one. I dont have a standby button, can I still standby? Which cord is it that I pull out?

 

I also have a 2 month if someone can show/tell me how to give myself host with my setup.
