My Cable going from the LPT programming port to the Chip is nolonger working. the programming software erassed the bios but will not write a new one, one of the finger on the cable is gone. is there a way to program the chip via DVD when the chip is blank? or am I out of luck :-( any help would be great, Pusky
I don't think that programming a blank chip via DVD is possible... Anyone, plz correct me if I'm wrong. I think you will find it easier to buy a replacement for the "head" of the cable and change it. Even better, take the cable to an electronics shop and ask them to change the parallel connector in it. Hope it helps. Regards, Marco V.
not that im aware of i think you have just killed your mod chip sorry and you will ned to purchase a new one now i know why i don't use a mod chip because if i did it would kill my gamecube and all though gamecubes are 49.99 now in the usa it wouldn't be worth the risk to the console to mod it
