Hi, I need help how to make divx files.
I been told to get easydivx because of itz compression/subtitle features, but whenever i try 2 make a divx file, it either takes about 4/5 hrs to complete or suckz all the juice from ma mem n cpu...

Can someone give a better solution than easydivx, then plz help.
    Sanx

Its normal for a DivX conversion software to sap most of your processing power. You really shouldnt be doing anything during cnonversion, anyway, since it might reduce quality. That may be why you are having failed attempts. Let it run at night, and it should be fine.

Doing other stuff won't effect the quality at all. Makes no difference. If you want to do other stuff though, get a dual core CPU or set the encoder priority to idle.

I was always told it can reduce quality...aww well, it'll still slow your computer down when trying to convert and do other things. :)
