help required video ts files

hi
i have files in various formats avi / divx / xvid /wm / i am trying to encode / transcode /convert (not to sure which one is the proper term ) the files before i put them onto dvd i want to get the files to video ts format (pal) i have used nero in the past but since i downloaded service pack 2 for xp nero seems to work when it feels like it i would be gratefull for any and all help

first off thanks went to link as you said got the download ?everywhere it said it was freeware i used it did as you said it would but i have caption accross top of picture am i doing something wrong or is this only a trial version till i cough up cash to get them to remove caption/

Something is not right here as all I ever do it point it to the file to convert, make sure the program saves the file to where I want it saved and then hit convert.

 

maybe because i put it to specific fold er will try later after work

i have used vso divx to dvd for the second time and i restorded the setting to default but i still get banner accross the top of the screen telling me this is (trial version www.vsodivx to dvd)is there any way to remove this ?

Below is another free one. My vwersion of Vso does not do the banner so I do not know what is wrong. The one below is supposed to convert also
