OK... I installed the eVox dashboard, but now I am reciving errors when I try getting back to the MS dashboard. And I know I shouldnt be getting errors. I am just wondering if I just royally screwed my chances to get back to the MS dash or not. please help!
So your EvoX still works, right? The reason you can't still run MS dash is because, assuming you backed it up, it is no longer the default dashboard on your C drive. If you are wanting to undo the mod then you would need to replace EvoX with your backup MS dash. There are more steps, if that is what you are trying to do then just ask. If you are just trying to run MS dash for Live or whatever reason, then it is not possible while the softmod is present. The only way to use Live and still have a softmod is using EvoX via CD.
if hardmodded then check your evox ini. when you renamed the msxboxdash file it is not recognized anymore. If you scroll down to msdashboard in ini make sure it reads the new name.
Yeah. The evox stil works. Games still play and all too. I'm not complaining too much really. I was just curious, since my friends exbox, which is modded too, can have evox as the main dash, but still can go to ms dash too... lol.
