Need finalizing help

    Last night, I was converting some things from a VCR tape to a DVD+R. I went to finalize the disc, and it never finished. I've tried it multiple times and it still didn't finalize. What's my next step? Should I clean it or would that cause me to lose everything?

    They're Maxell DVD+R with 4.7 GB & 2 hours in SP mode. My recorder's an RCA DRC8005N.
