Drive cant read blank recordable DVD-R disks.

    When i try to copy my DVD to a blank DVD when i insert the blank DVD the drive says "G:\ is not accessible. The Device is not ready." while at that time the blank DVD is in it!!! Please help with answers.

    Is your DVD drive a DVD burner or just a DVD ROM? DVD ROM's can't burn to a DVD. It can only read DVD's.
