I have all the vobs files I put them in a a folder called video_ts and also create a audio_ts then use record now deleux and also tried nero to burn the dvd as data. then when I try to play it on my dvd player it says cannot play im I burning this right or do i have to take other steps there are no other folders but the video and audio ts folders.i select those 2 and burn as data disc any help will great help Thank so much with out the afterdawn community i would be lost.
@jacksub, I'm pretty sure the mistake you are making is burning as a Data DVD, if its a movie file then burn as Video DVD, seeif this helps.
I do not see that option in record now deleuex 7.3 or nero does anyone know if maybe there is a step by step guide for burning dvds in nero or record now or come some one please explain to me the steps i do not see anywhere about the dvds except for data dvd or if anyone has a easier program to use I dont mind that either thanks for all your help
jackspub, Lets see what I can do to help ya. First lets talk about your record now - I have that program - I am almost sure it does not do video recordings but I could be wrong (I hardly ever even bother opening that program these days). And you definitely cannot make a DATA DVD and play it in a stand alone. It is a formatting issue. Next lets talk about your Nero. Do you Have Nero RECODE???? If so, Your Nero Recode will do what you need. If you do Not have Recode - Lets talk about DVD Shrink. You said you already have the vob files correct? Is it all one movie or is it several different clips you are just trying to put on 1 dvd? If it is a movie - you can open up shrink and do FULL DISK MODE or Re-Author and drag MOVIE ONLY over to the left side of the box. If you are doing a series of clips together - open up Shrink and go to Re-Author mode - pull each file up, drag it over to the left side - when you are done start the burning process. PLEASE FORGIVE ME - I AM not on my comp so I am going by memory only right now but this is really easy so dont worry about it. Hope this helps you some. Jackspub Do you, by chance have a program called SONIC DVD? It works with your record Now program, as they are intertwined.
