    Hi,
I have converted a couple of movies from divx/xvid to dvd using dvd santa and avi to dvd convertor. The picture comes out pretty well, doesnt skip but the audio is out of sync on some of them. The original file is in sync when i view it on the pc but seems to get lost when converted. The picture does not skip? , just the audio seems to be out of sync.
    Any ideas anyone.
    Cheers.

I think i just figured out whats causing the problem. I am converting the avi, divx , xvid to dvd but i am never quite sure if the file is ntsc or pal, seemingly ( as i have just read in another thread) there is a slight pause when converting. So is there any easy way of knowing what standard the original divx file is.
    Thanks for the help.
    Sham....
