I'm want to backup a DVD and play them through Windows Media XP Media Center Edition 2005. Is it possible? I want to keep the menus too...

Just rip the DVD to your hard drive with DVD Decrypter (free) as an iso file and then use Daemon Tools (free) to mount the image (iso) file on a virtual DVD drive. You can then use whatever player you desire. You may need AnyDVD or something similar to overcome some copy protection schemes. There are some software players that will play video files from a folder.
