I have a Sony DRU 710A. Did a few overburns to CD-R but then whenever I would overburn again, the movies playback choppy.
Now the new problem is when I burn DVDs they playback choppy also.
    Any solutions?
I just updated the firmware to BYX5 a few minutes ago.

    Thanks in Advance.

@twengane, it could be a medium problem, what brand of medium are you using?

yeah its most likely a media problem, use better media as in Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn at 4x

also DONT runn other prgrams while burning and keep your system clean doing a disc cleanup and a defrag often

I used a couple BenQ's, a couple Verbatim's and this other type with no name.
I burned about four Verbatim's only one came out choppy.
But now they all do, with the disc that doesnt even have a name.
