I checked out the threads on polar express and everyone did theirs without complaint. Maybe its the media or software or my inexperiance that is causing me to have this problem. I used DVDfab to decrypt the movie, then used roxio EM7 to burn it to disk. However, when I play it on my dvd player at home, it goes about half way/20 minutes into the movie and stops. I'm using TDK -R media which I have never had a problem with. I have also used these two programs to burn movies and have never had a problem before. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch.
Did you try to burn it a 2nd time? It could be the disc, there are bad ones scattered about. TDK-R's are alright but not the best media. I would try it again and see, I have the POlar Express via shrink & decrytper, no problems here. Good luck! BB
I did it twice. Maybe the entire movie didn't burn onto the disc? I'll try it again and let you know. Thanks.
Ok, I did it again using different media (sony) and the same thing happened, what am I doing wrong? Any ideas? Decrypted using DVDFAB and burned using EM7. Help please. Thanks.
sounds like the program you are using i would try a different program via ,CloneDVD 2 with anydvd using good media and burning at 4x ,heres a guide tto use the program http://bbmayo.home.comcast.net/
I decided to stop beating a dead horse, used dvdfab,shrink, and decryptor to burn and it worked. It was weird b/c a bud of mine did it the same way I did with EM7 and hers works...plus, i went to see if the dvd burnt the first time worked and it wouldn't play in my pc...weird because it worked in the dvd player itself, at least halfway through the movie anyway. Oh well. Thanks for all your help.
