FTP to Xbox via Linksys router

    Hi guys,

    I've read tutorials on FTP'ing through routers, but can't seem to get my PC connected to my Xbox via my Linksys router. The router has assigned the Xbox a DHCP IP address fine - this is 192.168.101.

    I was able to connect directly to the Xbox using a x-over cable previously but not through my router using a straight cable. Do I need to set up port forwarding on my router?

    I've searched for the answer but can't find it!

    Go into your linksys router setup and make sure port 21 is open for the xbox ip address..
