Does anyone out there know how to change the settings for recording. I have a four hour disc that I would like to back up and would like to change my record setting to accomodate the original. I am using NERO premium 7 so I am sure that the option is in there I am just probably overlooking. I thought that Extended play and Short play only pertained to VCR's??? Thanks Bryan
HI Those EP and SP settings that you see on blank DVDs only apply to DVD Recorders, which seem to be replacing the VCR. For DVD Video purposes, playing time has no effect on anything. It's all about file size. In other words, you could have a one hour movie or two hour movie and both be the same in file size. It all depends on how the studio encodes it to the disc. So is this disc commercial or a home video? Or in other words, where did it come from? This will determine where we go from here....
