Hello, Is there a prog that can convert AVI,Mpeg to DVD format. I have Nero 6 but its converting and burning and all i want it to do is just convert!! thanks in advance for the fast reponse.
It doesn't have to burn. There are other options for the target. There are other programs as well, e.g., avi2dvd divxtodvd
So your saying in nero vision express i can just have it convert (TS)and save the file to a folder. or should I try divxtodvd.
There is still a free version of this program available if you want to try it but as its a little dated and doesnt have the newer codecs and isnt as fast, but still it is a good piece of software to fall back on.When you convert with this software it will convert your avi/divx/xvid and mpeg 1/2/4 to a dvd compatible format: or mpeg2 . From there it is on your hard drive and you can access it via power dvd or burn it to disc as you see fit.I however utilise nero recode to get it to disc.
