Im brand new and need LOTS of help!!

    I just recently got an ipod for a gift and downloaded a video on limewire and it open in my itunes but when i try to drag the file to ipod as i would with a song, it says that it can't be copied because it cant be played on the ipod. Now I've read a couple other topics and I've tried converting the file to .mp4 but then itunes wont even accept it. Please help!! I have a Mac OS X 10.4.3 and I use limewire to download the videos. thanks!!!

    Which proggy are you using to carry out the conversions?

    I'm not converting any of the files, they just automatically load into my itunes.

    Check the guide in my sig for info on how to convert them. You have to convert them to make them compatible with the iPod.

    Hey I just followed the instructions through quicktime and it worked. But now all of the sound is gone.
