    I have a copy of stealth from a friend, i'm trying to make a copy for myself and i keep getting a cycle redun fault. I'm using dvd decrip & dvd srink. I've done this before without a problem but this one just won't work. I watched the dvd from my friend so it's good.

    Is the disc scratched or dirty?

    You could also download DVDFab decrypter from this website and try to rip with that. It sometimes will rip those hare to rip discs when decrypter won't.

    Cheers.

    Check the disk to see who manufactured it and post it here. Use DVD Identifier you can get it here:

    http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/

    Sometimes poor quality disks loose the data and are extremely hard to read..
    Like Memorex made by CMC Magnetics….

    I have had to throw a ton of them away because of read errors..

    Have you tried ripping with Decrypter? If so what errors do you get?

    No need to use shrink unless your friends copy is DVD9 and you're using DVD5.
    Details help us help you.....

    Is your friends an Original? Or is it a copy of Stealth? If it's a copy then you could just use DVD Decrypter in ISO mode and do Iso Read Iso Write

    if it's the original try ANYDVD and DVD SHRINK

    If you are making a copy of a copy then just use DVD Decrypter in iso read mode then open the MDS file and use iso write mode. You disk is already compressed. If you are getting a CRC error on these programs your friend must have used some nasty media, and the disk has errors in the burn.

    you need to download the new copy of Anydvd 5.5.1.1 or the the latest one 5.6.1.1. I had the same problem. It is a protection code that it has. It can only be taking out by ANydvd. It work for me. If anything email me at yat16@yahoo.com

    testing the abilities of the ripping programs I found that in the file mode ripped by dvd decrypter, with anydvd running in the background, "monster in law" had some protections that the above applications could not care. may be also you have to test this tool. i confese that theese extra protections were not capable to stop the rest of the procedure (rip, shrink and burn). so try freedvd

    @yafet116

    Please edit out your email addy it is against forum rules, which are listed in my sig. Also the poster is trying to make a copy of a copy AnyDVD will not be of use in this because the copy has no protection on it.
